confluence Sageunay | oil on gallery canvas | 36" x 48"

Image 1 of 27

This painting was inspired by a trip to Tadoussac at the confluence of the St. Lawrence and the Saguenay rivers – where the salt water from the Atlantic meets the fresh water. An important feeding ground for so many unique species - Zooplankton, krill, numerous fish, Belugas, and on up to the great whales. The glassy calm of the river disguises a whole realm of action going on just beneath the surface! SOLD
